Lifeguard on Duty

During Social Media Week LA, Ryan and I quickly rushed to Santa Monica to catch the sunset for our swimwear shoot! We shot around the lifeguard tower since no one was around. It was a perfect way to end a long day of learning and networking. I am wearing the Nosara Top and Hermosa Bottom from Pura Vida Bracelets.

Arts District in LA

It was my first time working with Ryan who is a fashion and lifestyle photographer based in San Francisco. I met him at the Love Culture party awhile back, and we finally met to shoot! It was so much fun getting to work with him and snapping tons of Fyuse content! If you guys haven’t heard of Fysuse before, it’s basically the coolest new app ever! It involves a community of people who capture their life moments from different angles to create 3D images.

Ryan and I met with Yuki who is a blogger and singer. It was nice getting to know her and learn about her experiences. What I love about this industry is being able to meet people from all different backgrounds and cultures. It’s interesting to learn about someone’s goals and their drive to be a better person. After the sunset, we headed to eat at this restaurant and talked about our own goals. Check out my new friend Ryan and his amazing work at http://ryanbyryanchua.com. Thanks for reading, and please subscribe if you want to keep up with my new adventures! xo

Photoshoot and Fab Fit Fun event

In the afternoon, I headed to Santa Monica pier with my friend and photographer Allyson. We wanted to shoot before the Fab Fit Fun event in Beverly Hills. I had a couple of casual looks we shot on the pier and by the beach. Afterwards, we headed to the event for some fun suprises! The event had a red carpet, DJ, beauty and nail bar, and some yummy tacos! We left the event with a HUGE bag of goodies which I am so excited to try! Check out the photos below and let me know which look you like best. xo

Summer is around the corner and these cute beach tees and accessories from Serengetee is perfect to throw on when you want to achieve the casual “California girl” (or guy) look. I love this fashion brand because they support local artisans from around the world by purchasing fabrics and incorporating it to every product! It is so amazing to see a company dedicated to helping communities in need by giving back 10% of their profit. Check out how I style the tees below at one of my favorite spots in Laguna beach! xo
